The Lower Caverns sprite sheet #4
The result of five years' work, updating/improving the graphics from the original Spectrum/SAM Coupé version of Manic Miner, adaptations of some sprites from the Bob McFarlane AGD remix, and some wholly new sprites, unique to The Lower Caverns. Most of the sprites have just 4 frames of animation (with some having unique frames for moving left/right or up/down), and most stick to the same 12-colour palette, though some caverns have adjusted palettes to allow for greater variety. These are mostly the final tweaks: improvements to the shape of the three spinny things, adjusted shading on the blobby guy, tweaked animation on the toilets, updated Kong and an Alien Kong Beast version, and a 'chrome effect' sphere.
