A Mandelbrot Plotter for the ZX Spectrum Next.
What can NFE do?
It allows users to explore the Mandlebrot set on a ZX Spectrum Next. It can zoom in and in and in, to reveal more detail and complexity, and make some very pretty pictures while it's about it.
NFE works in both 256x192 and 320x256 screen modes, has a color cycling mode, and comes with a program for Linux/Mac/Windows that generates colour palettes from .png and.jpg images. These palettes can then be loaded in NFE and applied to plots.
Installation
Copy the NFE directory that was cloned or included in a downloaded release to the NEXT SD Card.
Running
Using the browser, navigate to the NFE directory and select NFE.bas or Enter NextBasic, or the command line, and cd to the NFE directory. Then enter load "nfe.bas" and press enter.
