Muscate Nut is a demo released in 1999 for the ZX Spectrum 48K. Created by the group Syndrome, this demo showcases the collaborative efforts of Phantazm in graphics, Spark in music, and Lester in coding. The demo was presented at the DiHalt 1999 party, where it secured the 2nd place in the competition.

The visual style of Muscate Nut is characterized by vibrant, psychedelic colors and abstract patterns. One of the standout features is the dynamic animation of geometric shapes, such as cubes, which create a visually engaging experience. The graphics are designed to push the limits of the ZX Spectrum's capabilities, providing a unique aesthetic that is both retro and innovative.

The soundtrack, composed by Spark, complements the visual elements with electronic music that enhances the overall atmosphere of the demo. The integration of sound and visuals is seamless, making it a memorable piece in the demoscene community. The music is both rhythmic and atmospheric, adding depth to the visual journey.

Muscate Nut is a testament to the creativity and technical skill of its creators. It reflects the spirit of the demoscene, where artists and programmers collaborate to produce art that transcends the limitations of the hardware. This demo remains a significant work, celebrated for its artistic and technical achievements.

moroz1999: The credits stay as they are, the website is not interfering with past. This website has appeared 10 years after the original competition on Phat took place, and it only collects the data for archivation and preservation - exactly as it was published in 1998. So for historical reasons this particular version of the tune stays as is, and it has nothing to do with the fact that you are the author of the original.

I have deleted comments with personal insults. We don't support ripping here, but please avoid discussing the author, and better discuss the entry itself. Leaving a note with the proofs that this music has been ripped is already enough.

GeirTjeltaC64/AHX: Different formats doesn't mean a thing, and it doesn't apply for stealing other's music and work. Maybe this site is so obscure that he/she thought he'd/she'd get away with it.
Why isn't the credits updated?

dvsn: If anything, I'll give you the name of the phone in which such melodies were sewn: Rus-21, Rus-22 and Rus-23 AON. It is based on the Z80 microcontroller.
