Total Eclipse - Adventure Game

Total Eclipse is a graphical adventure game developed by Major Developments and published by Incentive Software Ltd in 1988. The game is set in ancient Egypt, where the High Priest has set a curse that if anything blocks the sun's rays during daylight hours, it will be destroyed. The player's mission is to destroy the shrine of the Sun-God Re, located at the top of a great pyramid, before the total eclipse occurs and triggers the curse, causing the moon to explode and shower the Earth with meteorites. The game features a Freescape 3D generated view of the surroundings and various items that the player can collect, such as treasure and ankhs. The screen display includes information on collected ankhs, treasure value, eclipse state, and the player's current location and height above sea level.
