Street Fighter is a classic fighting game released in 1988, where players assume the role of the martial artist Ryu, traveling across the globe to challenge fighters from various nations. The game is structured in a five-part multi-load format, with each segment dedicated to a different country: Japan, USA, England, China, and Thailand.

Players can choose to start the game with three credits and decide whether to use one or two joysticks. In a two-player mode, the second player takes on the role of Ken. Each country features two computer-controlled opponents that must be defeated to progress, such as Retsu and Geki in Japan, and Adon and Sagat in Thailand.

The gameplay consists of best-of-three-round matches, where players earn bonus points for remaining time and energy. After conquering all opponents in a country, players participate in a bonus round, executing a Karate Chop on concrete slabs to test their strength before the time runs out.

This iconic game was developed by Blue Turtle and Tiertex Ltd, published by Go!, and licensed by Capcom Co. Ltd. It supports Kempston and Sinclair joysticks and runs on the ZX Spectrum 48K and 128K systems.
