Altered Beast is an arcade-style beat 'em up game released in 1989. The game was developed by MAK Computer Graphics and Software Studios, and published by Activision Inc. The storyline revolves around a brave warrior who is called upon by Zeus to save his daughter Athena from the evil Lord of the Underworld, Nelf. The player controls the warrior, who has the ability to transform into different creatures with supernatural powers. As the Strongman, the player can punch and kick harder than ever before, while as the WereWolf and WereTiger, they can rip the flesh of demons. The game features intense battles and a final showdown with Nelf in the Underworld.
