Hammerfist is an interactive multi-character arcade game developed by Vivid Image and published by Activision Inc in 1990. Set in the year 2245, the game takes place in a dystopian future where the lives of people are controlled by a powerful corporation called Centro-Holographix. The corporation transforms suitable humans into holographic images to perform various tasks. Two deadly characters, Hammerfist and Metalisis, are ready for assignment under the evil instruction of Centro-Holographix. However, a malfunction occurs, turning Hammerfist and Metalisis against their masters, and thus begins the revolution.
