The Vindicator is a 1988 arcade shooter game developed by Mark R. Jones, Simon Butler, Jonathan Dunn, Paul Owens, and illustrated by Bob Wakelin. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where Earth has been devastated by invaders from another star. The player takes on the role of 'The Vindicator', a lone survivor who must battle through mazes, infiltrate the alien computer system, and build a device to eliminate the invaders. The gameplay includes air combat, racing across planets in a high-powered jeep, and facing off against the Giant Guardian in its underground lair.
