Extreme is a platform action game released in 1991 by Digital Integration. Set in the distant future of 3021 AD, the game follows the return of the deep space probe Pioneer 10 aboard an alien spacecraft. This ship, unfortunately, has been hijacked by Steg pirates, who have activated its self-destruct mechanism.

Players assume the role of the first person to board the alien craft after it crash-lands on Earth. The primary objective is to disarm the self-destruct mechanism before it obliterates the planet. The game challenges players to solve various tasks to uncover weapons and objects left behind by the alien crew.

The game features a status panel that displays essential information such as energy levels, score, countdown timer, and high score. The central window of the panel shows the status of weapons and objects, which are crucial for completing the mission.

Designed by Dave Perry and Nick Bruty, Extreme offers a classic platforming experience on systems like Amstrad, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum. The game supports joystick controls, enhancing the action-packed gameplay.
