Sirwood - Action Arcade Game for ZX Spectrum

Sirwood is an arcade action game developed by Opera Soft S.A. in 1990. The game is set in the third era of great magicians, where the protagonist, Arn Sirwood, embarks on a quest to retrieve a stolen golden shield. According to the legend, this shield protects the inhabitants of NARGOORT from evil forces. The game consists of four independent stages, each with its own unique challenges and enemies. In the first stage, players witness the theft of the shield by the magician Amargol and see Arn's decision to search for it. The second stage takes place in the forests of Amargol, where players guide Sirwood through thirty screens filled with monsters. To progress, players must collect six spell vases and obtain the strength to remove the sword of Sablat from a stone. The third stage is set in the castle's caves, a labyrinth with multiple entrances and exits, where players must use Sablat's sword to defeat enemies and collect pieces of a magical papyrus. The final stage brings players closer to the conclusion of the adventure, as they confront the foul-smelling magician.
