Stuntman Seymour is an action platformer game released in 1992, developed by Reflective Designs and Synergy, and published by Code Masters Ltd. The game features Seymour, a character starring in a series of stunt movies directed by the fictional Steven Squealburg. Players guide Seymour through various film sets, each with its unique theme and challenges.
The game consists of four distinct levels, each representing a different movie genre. Players will find themselves in a Cowboy Western, a Pirate Swashbuckler, a Chicago Gangster setting, and a James Bond-inspired Spy Snow Scene. Each level presents different obstacles and enemies, requiring players to navigate platforms, dodge explosions, and defeat adversaries.
In Stuntman Seymour, players must help Seymour perform impressive stunts and avoid being hit by enemies to progress through the levels. The objective is to make Seymour look good on camera, ultimately defeating the main antagonist of each level to win the hearts of the cinema audience.
The game is characterized by its vibrant graphics and engaging platforming challenges. It supports various joystick controls, including Interface2 and Kempston joysticks, catering to different player preferences. The game's manual was converted to etext by Neil Tomlinson and readapted for the Spectrum in 2003 by Alessandro Grussu.
