Chain Reaction is an action-platformer game released in 1987 by Durell Software Ltd. Players have 30 minutes to collect the fuel rods, using an armor-piercing machine gun and a personal jetpack. The building is equipped with decontamination showers to manage radiation levels. The game challenges players to balance time management and strategic movement to avoid falling into the containment vault.

The game includes color-coded floors to help track the location of remaining fuel rods. Players must use lifts to ascend and navigate square holes to descend. Points are earned by defeating robots and successfully depositing rods in the vault, with bonuses for completing all objectives.
