Stranded on Earth due to a lack of fuel, Alien Slaphead must collect various items to convert into rocket fuel to return home. The game takes place on New Year's Eve, allowing the alien to move unnoticed during the celebrations. The mission involves passing a KOT (Knowledge of Terra) test to retrieve extra rocket fuel from helium packs.

The gameplay involves navigating through different stages to reach helium tanks, which provide essential resources. Players must answer KOT questions correctly to advance and collect items to boost fuel levels. The player's performance affects their U.R.A. Ranking at the end of the game.
