Astronut - ZX Spectrum Game

Astronut is a 1984 arcade platformer game developed by Patrick J. Richmond and illustrated by Roger Tissyman. It was published by Software Projects Ltd. The game is available in English and can be played on the ZX Spectrum 48K using a Kempston joystick. Astronut takes place on Planet CS, where a space freighter carrying Resource Blocks has been devastated by a meteor storm. The player takes on the role of a settler who must venture outside the settlement to collect the scattered Resource Blocks. The game features unexplored terrain and various dangers, including erupting volcanoes and aliens. The player must collect the Blocks on Matter Transporter Pads at the bottom of each level while avoiding hazards and utilizing bombs to eliminate aliens with a delay before they explode.
