Haoken is a game for ZX Spectrum 128k only. It follows the story of Young Haoken, who embarks on ninja training with the goal of becoming the future king of Sindara. The game is divided into three acts, each representing a different stage of Haoken's training, leading up to the final battle against Ony Anthrax. Players have access to three ninja abilities: DASH, which allows them to quickly move to remote locations, DOUBLE JUMP, which enables them to reach otherwise unreachable places, and SLASH, a katana attack to defeat enemies. The game offers three control methods: keyboard (QAOP SPACE M), Kempston Joystick, and Sinclair Joystick + SPACE. Players also have the option to redefine controls for greater comfort.
