Action Platformer Game Khazzad-Dum for ZX Spectrum

Khazzad-Dum is a classic platformer game released in 1987, developed by System 4 and published by Idealogic S.A. The game is set in the expansive forests of Brethil, where the elven community once thrived in the fortress of Khazzad-Dum. However, due to wars with the Dark Lord, they lost their possessions and were exiled.

Your mission is to reclaim the fortress by defeating the beasts of Banglir. These beasts guard parts of the Magic Center of Mithrandir, which is essential for defeating Banglir and dismantling the Dark Power. Players take on the role of Earendil, tasked with this challenging quest.

The game consists of five stages, each requiring players to collect two keys to access rooms containing parts of the Magic Center. Players have six lives and three spells per life to complete their mission. The game is known for its classic platforming mechanics and challenging gameplay.

Khazzad-Dum was originally available on the ZX Spectrum 48K and MSX platforms. It features classic joystick controls, including Kempston joystick support for the Spectrum and joystick or cursor controls for the MSX.
