Monty on the Run is an arcade platformer game developed by Gremlin Graphics Software Ltd in 1985. The game, created by Peter M. Harrap, is set in Scudmore Prison, where the player controls Monty, a super fit prisoner who is desperate for freedom. Monty must navigate through various hideouts and secret locations, collecting the correct five items from a freedom kit to successfully complete his journey. Along the way, he can also collect gold coins and encounter objects that can either help or hinder his progress. The goal is to make it to the ferry in time for ultimate freedom.
