The Arc of Yesod - Platform Adventure Game

The Arc of Yesod is a platform adventure game developed by Stuart James Fotheringham, Colin Grunes, Paul Salmon, Fred Gray, Steve Wetherill, and Paul McKenna. It was published by Thor Computer Software in 1985. The game is playable on ZX Spectrum 128K and ZX Spectrum 48K. The objective of the game is to control the character, Charlemagne Fotheringham-Grunes, as he traverses the caverns below the alien world of Ariat. Charlie must find eight crystals and destroy the Monolith, which has collected sensitive information about Earth. The game features various alien creatures and obstacles, draining the player's life energy upon contact. Charlie is armed with a Sphere, or Electronic Mole, which can eliminate aliens and open secret passages. Smart Bombs are also available to wipe out all aliens on the screen.
