Star Wars is a home computer adaptation of the renowned Atari arcade game. Released in 1987, it offers players the opportunity to step into the shoes of Luke Skywalker, piloting an X-Fighter in a mission to destroy the Death Star. The game is structured around three main sequences, each presenting unique challenges and enemies.

The first sequence involves a dogfight in deep space, where players must shoot down Empire's Tie-Fighters while avoiding incoming missiles. The action intensifies as players approach the Death Star, requiring quick reflexes and strategic maneuvering.

In the second sequence, players navigate through the Death Star's surface, dodging laser towers that rise from the ground. Precision and timing are crucial as the laser towers present a formidable obstacle, demanding players to stay alert and responsive.

The final sequence takes players into the trench of the Death Star, aiming for the exhaust port. Successfully hitting the exhaust port triggers the destruction of the Death Star, culminating the mission. Players earn points by hitting targets, with the potential to record their scores among the top ten players.
