Dan Dare II: Mekon's Revenge is an arcade adventure game developed by Gang of Five and published by Virgin Games Ltd in 1988. The game is set in deep space and follows the story of Colonel Dan Dare as he faces off against the Mekon, an alien villain who seeks to rule Earth. The Mekon has created a new genetically engineered race called the Supertreens and plans to launch them on Earth. Dan Dare must infiltrate the Mekon's ship, locate and sabotage the Supertreens' control boxes, and prevent their release into Earth's atmosphere.
