Komando 2 is an action-packed top-down shooter game released in 1992 by Ultrasoft. The game centers around a soldier from a special sabotage unit who is parachuted into enemy territory. His mission is to destroy a nuclear reactor using a powerful explosive, Semtex, to prevent the production of plutonium for nuclear warheads. This mission is successful, thwarting the enemy's plans for a devastating atomic attack.

After the successful sabotage, the protagonist faces a new challenge: navigating through eight hostile territories to reach a helicopter that will take him to safety. Along the way, he must contend with enemy soldiers and increasing levels of radioactivity from the damaged reactor. The game provides players with visual indicators for radioactivity, lives, score, and special weapons. Starting with five lives, players must avoid enemy fire and radioactive exposure.
