Exodus - Arcade Shooter Game for ZX Spectrum

Exodus is an arcade shooter game developed by John F. Cain and published by Firebird Software Ltd in 1984. The game is playable on the ZX Spectrum 48K and supports various input methods such as keyboard, cursor joystick, and Kempston joystick. The objective of the game is to prevent objects from reaching the side of The Pit by maneuvering your space ship and firing laser bolts at them. However, you must be careful not to shoot Spud or let Mutant Llamas escape, as it will result in losing one of your three lives. Exodus features three different Pits, and upon clearing all of them, you will return to the first at a more challenging level of play. Additionally, a 'cheat mode' is available, granting you 255 lives and reducing the number of objects to destroy before progressing to the next Pit.
