Tristam Island is a text-based adventure game developed by Hugo Labrande in 2020. The game is set on a small island where the player, after surviving a plane crash, explores the surroundings and discovers that the island was once inhabited. The main mystery revolves around why the people left and the purpose of a fenced building on top of a hill. With around 100 recognized verbs, players can interact with the environment by entering commands such as 'go east', 'examine sky', 'inventory', and more. Tristam Island is available in two interpreters: ZXZVM and CPM+, the former being more visually appealing and the latter offering better performance on real hardware. The game is compatible with the ZX Spectrum 128 +3 and can be played on emulators or the Spectrum Next.
