Rebel Planet is an interactive text adventure game developed by Adventure Soft U.K. Ltd and published by U.S. Gold Ltd in 1986. Based on the Fighting Fantasy book series by Robin Waterfield, the game immerses players in a mission to overthrow the alien Arcadian Empire.

The player assumes the role of a secret agent from SAROS, a covert Earth organization. Tasked with infiltrating the Arcadian Empire, the mission involves traveling to planets such as Tropos, Halmurus, and Arcadion to gather intelligence and ultimately destroy the Arcadian queen computer.

Gameplay involves navigating through various environments, collecting items like a laser sword, and interacting with NPCs to uncover critical information. Commands are entered via text, utilizing an extensive vocabulary to perform actions and solve puzzles.

Players must decipher a nine-digit binary code to access the queen computer's location. This code is crucial to completing the mission, requiring players to strategically gather clues from the game's universe.
