Match Day - ZX Spectrum Game

Match Day is a soccer arcade game released in 1984 by Ocean Software Ltd. It is a 3-D action arcade style game where players control the action from a 'camera-eye' view. Each team has its own color strip and is made up of a goalkeeper, defenders, midfield players, and attackers. The player in possession of the ball or the player best placed to tackle or intercept the ball is controlled by the player. The game allows players to perform various skills and tactics such as dribbling, passing, heading, blocking, trapping, taking corners and throw-ins, and more.
