Hypaball is a futuristic sports simulation game developed by Odin Computer Graphics in 1986. Set in a world where traditional field sports have evolved, Hypaball presents a unique team game that is considered the greatest in the known Universe. Players take control of the Hawks team and compete against the Vipers in the prestigious Odin Super Cup.
The game involves selecting players for your team based on their abilities. Once the team is ready, they enter the Hypa-dome, a superb arena where the match takes place. The gameplay starts with a steel sphere being rocketed into the arena, and players must strategically pass and shoot the ball to score points.
Hypaball offers both single-player and two-player modes, allowing for competitive play against friends or the computer. The game's controls are designed for keyboard or joystick input, providing flexibility in how players choose to engage with the game.
Each match is followed by a report from "The Echo," adding a narrative element to the game. Hypaball's blend of strategy and action provides a challenging experience that awaits players eager to prove their skills in this futuristic sport.
