VirusII

Virus II is a game developed for the ZX Spectrum 128K, released in 1995. It is categorized under games and simulators, created by Sergey Kukovyakin and published by the same. The game is designed to be played using the Interface 2 joystick, specifically the right one.

The gameplay involves managing and controlling the spread of different viruses across a grid. Players must strategically handle the viruses, represented by various colored dots, to prevent them from taking over the entire grid. The game provides a simulation of viral outbreaks, challenging players to contain and manage the spread effectively.

On the screen, players can see different virus types such as plague, cholera, and flu, each with its own characteristics and spread patterns. The interface displays the count of each virus type, allowing players to monitor and strategize their moves accordingly.

Developed by Amateur Software System, Virus II offers a unique simulation experience for fans of strategy and management games, requiring careful planning and quick decision-making to succeed.

orac81: Hello, just a note to say:
The zx81 version needs 16k ram.
The "legal status" is that rhe game is open source under GNU GPL3 License. Download includes the source code.
It also runs under SDL2 on PCs, Commodore computers, etc

pyramex_of_hate: To be fair - this is actually a track I wrote for my band years ago (before I had kids and still had a life), and it doesn't translate that well. Original is here: https://boars.bandcamp.com/track/iron-in-the-soul
