Thunderbirds is a game developed by John F. Cain and Kevin A. Moughtin, released in 1985 by Firebird Software. The game is inspired by the popular TV series created by Gerry Anderson. The storyline involves a mission where players control Thunderbird One and Two to rescue Egyptologists trapped in an ancient tomb.

The gameplay requires players to use logic and navigation skills to move large stone blocks and clear paths within the maze-like tomb. Players must manage their resources wisely, including fuel, which is crucial for completing the mission before the oxygen runs out.

Thunderbird One and Two have distinct abilities: Thunderbird One can move blue blocks, while Thunderbird Two can handle green blocks and carry a payload of up to 40 tonnes. Both crafts can move red blocks, and players must strategically use these capabilities to progress.

The game is designed for the ZX Spectrum 48K and offers both keyboard and joystick controls. Each treasure collected increases the player's score, adding a competitive element to the rescue mission.
