    (C) Marchy

News from the Spectrum enthusiasts in the ancient Russian city of Yaroslavl (I think I said it quite officially, so it will do for the introduction), so:

Marchy/CDS/CC (ex-Condor) is still trading on the radio market and providing all of Yaroslavl (and beyond) with various software for Speccy. Actively maintains contact with many Spectrum groups from other regions of our vast homeland and abroad, thanks to the worldwide Internet. On the Internet, participates in the project of a non-periodical computer publication - #z80, dedicated to the life of Spectrum on the Internet (at the time of writing this article, issue 0 has already been released and issue 1 is being prepared for release; if you want to write to us, here is our address: z_80@chat.ru). Joined the international corporation - Concern Chaos (and is now: Marchy/CondorSoft/ConcernChaos). Bought an A1200 (A1200 + Blizzard 30/50 + 16 RAM + 2.2 Gb HDD + CD-ROM 8). Despite acquiring such a high-end machine, he has no intention of abandoning Spectrum. Launched a large-scale campaign to promote and sell Amiga (wrapped it in a phrase) in Yaroslavl. However, it should be noted that the people, seduced by the little toys (ugh, what a word), do not react actively enough to this, which is a pity!

Kav Software - about a year ago acquired a PC, found a job on it, and forgot about Speccy. As Andrey informed me, there is no point in waiting for the continuation of the "RTH" series from him, as the author practically earned nothing from his first project :( and stated that he does not wish to work further for the pockets of pirate traders. At the moment, he is writing programs on PC for some company (for real money). All of this is very sad, but aren't we to blame when we buy 'pirated' copies of licensed software from pirate traders? Perhaps, there is something to think about.

Nicolas Viper - also acquired a PC (for work) and is creating a WWW page on the Internet for the Yaroslavl newspaper "KaraVan Ros". Due to lack of time, he does not engage with Spectrum. Occasionally, though, he borrows new software from me to see what Spectrum is up to, apparently out of nostalgia.

Dr Shura - has turned to commerce and is engaged in selling compact discs for PC on the radio market. He is interested in Spectrum (he looks at the new stuff that has appeared with me and plays his favorite "INDOOR SOCCER"). He dreams of acquiring a PC to enjoy the game "NHL-98," of which he is a fan.

Harkonnen/CDS/CC - is simply amazed by his A600, modestly dreaming of an A1200 (or at least a 'hard drive' with an additional 1 MB for the A600). He continues to compose his unmatched music in Octamed (Amiga), sometimes, though, indulges in Spectrum masterpieces, but not as often as he would like. He has joined our international team, Concern Chaos.

MacKeymn - our new musician and game maker. He seems to be writing something there, clearly, the man is working seriously. In short, as the well-known Kano would say, - a cool guy in the future :).

DJ Reason - oh, what can I say, a cool musician, though I haven't seen him on our radio market for quite a while. Occasionally, we do call each other on the phone; and it turned out that he has assembled a Sound Drive, he liked it very much, and he has started writing music only for SD. Naively, he hasn't heard how Amiga sounds.

Nicodim - serves in our valiant Russian army and, according to rumors, is 'hanging out' somewhere near Tunoshna (which is located near Yaroslavl). They say he likes it there /just kidding/.
