Well, you have finally waited for the CONTEST in our magazine! In principle, we haven't received any requests to introduce such a section in OBERON. But we decided to introduce it ourselves, partly to increase your interest in us, and partly just for fun!

The idea of this contest is not related to computers and was originally taken from the radio station EUROPA+. So, below are the texts of English songs in a clumsy Russian translation. Your task is to guess the title of the song as well as the performer/band. Any additional information you provide in your letter (duration, album, year of release, etc.) will only improve your chances of winning. To simplify your task, I will give you a hint that you should not look for answers in the areas of RAVE, TRANCE, ACID, HOUSE, RAP, TECHNO, POP, SOUL, GRANGE, and some other areas of modern music.

"So everything was the same on EUROPA+, what's the difference?" - you may ask. And here it is: besides the song text, we provide a small fragment from it.

Usually, when this is done, they try to distort the original sound as much as possible. However, we didn't have to do that! The limitations of memory and not the best playback conditions (AY-CHIP) did the job themselves. Although it must be admitted, the music still remained recognizable.

Now, about the prizes!

Currently, there is no prize, as it has not been made yet. As you probably already understood, the prize will be the latest issue of our magazine, which will come to you (if you win, of course) completely free of charge!

We want to warn you right away that the translation is not entirely accurate. At first, it was done by a "big calculator," and then M.M.A polished it (the rhyme works out!).
