Today, the "REVIEW" section is fully dedicated to the letter from our correspondent in Chelyabinsk, Velichutin N.V., known as the creator of the unique software package "ANIMATION". This package is intended for everyone who loves computer animation and wishes to create their own cartoons on Speccy. Well, today we will talk about Mr. Velichutin's letter, as well as the programs he sent us along with his letter.
We must give credit to the author - the letter we received was original and electronic. In the best traditions of our magazine. We regret that we could not find a way to publish the letter in its original form, in its own shell. But you will still see the letter in the form of pictures.
Well, we got acquainted with Velichutin's programs and found them quite useful for children who are just learning to count. We will also note the gaming aspect embedded in the learning process. Even a small error in the "MULTIPLICATION" program, related to the fact that the highest digit of the number is not reset when displaying the correct result, does not spoil the overall impression.

In this issue, we found the opportunity to publish both educational counting programs.
Now a few words about the "SOUND" program. Unlike other similar programs, "SOUND" stands out with improved technical characteristics. Test trials showed good quality of "digitization". There is an opinion that today this is one of the best programs for lovers of digitized sound. Files obtained using this program can be used in various types of programs - from games to educational ones..
Now our responses:
1. You can send text and graphic materials to us in any format convenient for you. The most convenient texts for us are in the format of text editors is-DOS or MS-DOS. It is better to send graphics in the form of standard screen files.
2. Regarding counting (sorry for the pun), allow me to express this point of view: we have long supported talented authors since the very birth of our magazine. The "SPECTROFON" itself is that very "count" to which people send money.
That is, by purchasing "SPECTROFON", the owners of "ZX-SPECTRUM" thereby increase our capabilities for acquiring and publishing the works of talented authors in the magazine. To come up with something additional here, in our opinion, is unnecessary. However, we are open to dialogue and your suggestions.
3. It is very difficult for us to say anything about the "PROFI" computers. Here, of course, separate articles from the authors and developers of this machine are needed. But, as far as we know, the developing company of this machine is drifting towards the CP-M operating system. And we, as you can guess, work in TR-DOS. But if the developers of "PROFI" wish to answer your questions and tell users about their machine, we would be happy to publish their works.
