The rumor about the death of Clive Sinclair (see BORN DEAD#2) continues to be just a rumor. No one has been able to properly confirm or deny this information. However, for advanced readers with access to the Internet, it will not be difficult to seek out complete and truthful information about "Uncle" Clive's health. The official website of Sinclair Research Ltd. can be found at:

A new issue of the electronic newspaper BUZZ from Kovrov has arrived in Samara. However, it's hard to call it a newspaper since it occupies 836 sectors on disk! I want to note that BUZZ contains the second worthy reading material about FUNTOP'98 after, of course, my article in OBERON#5 :) I also recommend checking out the recently arrived electronic magazine DEJA VU #6, where the review of FT'98 may not be top-notch, but the photo gallery occupies a whole four sections!
By the way, the authors of DEJA VU are simultaneously working on a CD-ROM that includes a huge collection of software for SPECCY and emulators for pC (my competitors!). The most interesting thing is that they promise to include on the disk in .mp3 format all the audio cassettes that DANIEL recorded at FUNTOP... That's where we'll have a blast!!!
Just recently, a demo of EDGE OF SANITY arrived from Vladimir. It's not VAV, but SAT from the same MEGACODE. The demo, or rather gift, is small, but it has some cool chunky action in it! Recommended for viewing in children's educational institutions :)
