Hello, esteemed all, today, as always, I will tell you about new games that have appeared not so long ago.
A LAST HERO OF THE LIGHT FORCE
Episode one: ORCS LAIR
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
(C) 1998 Excess Team
Here we finally are, waiting for the release of this wonderful game. The game is spread across two disks. The genre of the game can be defined as RPG with Action inserts. So, the first mission is to cleanse the castle of all sorts of filth, like orcs :).
At the very beginning of the game, you will be greeted with a pleasant pre-intro with digitized sounds (or without them - it's up to you). Then, after selecting the game, the initial menu offers you to choose a player to play as. And once you have chosen your player, a pleasant woman will appear before you, who will tell you about the mission's goal and inform you of other details.

So, you enter the mazes of the castle, which is teeming with orcs. Your task, as mentioned above, is to cleanse the castle. This is not so easy. The maze has many doors, some of which open easily, while others require keys that are scattered throughout the castle, or you can take them from a slain orc. There are also doors that open with hidden buttons. When you attack an orc, you enter a Mortal Kombat-style insert (a very brutal fight), where it is not so easy to take down the opponent, although for advanced gamers, it won't be a problem. After killing an orc, you can take his weapon, clothing, etc. You can also enter a shop and buy something or sell. In case of your demise, an animation awaits you, which will play directly from the disk; in it, you will see your grave and the graves of those who tried to resist the orcs :).
Overall, this is the best game in its genre, packed with all sorts of jokes, digitizations, and other pleasant things. In the first episode, magic and some other features are not yet implemented, but they promise to be in the next part. In general, play and enjoy, the game - rulezzzz!
Manufacturer: Excess Team 1998.
Volume: 2 TR-DOS disks with protection.

OPERATION R.R.

(C) 1997 Galaxy
This is a Dizzy-like game, although no, it is more likely similar to "48 Irons".

The story of the game is so convoluted and not clear at first glance that I won't dare to retell it to you now, so as not to make a mistake. You control the Last - a cheerful creature with uncontrollable eyes :) In general, the game is more difficult at first than the same Dizzy or 48 Irons, you had to figure out to put a log on the clouds :), but all those advanced gamers will easily solve all the puzzles, etc. The game has two levels, there is a built-in cheat, but if you play with the cheat, you will never learn the password for the second part. Overall, this is quite a large and beautiful game with good graphics and music, which, by the way, can be changed. This is a true gift for fans of this genre.
Manufacturer: Galaxy Group 1998.
Volume: 1 TR-DOS disk with protection. There is also a cracked version that occupies 500 sectors.

QUADRAX
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
(C) 1994 Ultrasoft
A wonderful game in the style of Lemmings. You control two little people that need to be guided to the exit. In the early levels, this will not be difficult, but later you will have to think.
:░▒▓░░ The graphics in the game are small, but all the movements of the heroes are carefully drawn.
░░▒▒▒▒▒▒▒░░░▒░▒░: Access to the levels is done via passwords. In general, this is quite a cool game, and if you are a fan of Lemmings, I am sure you won't be able to pull yourself away from this game.

ANY TANK
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
(C) 1998 Optical Bros./ZX-Legion
This is a cool mini-game, controlled by just one key. Your task is to survive in the tank for only (?) 5 minutes and then you will see the final picture. On the field, you are hindered by 2 enemies. One of them - some guy - you should not mess with, while the second appears after 12 seconds (if, of course, you hold out) and starts stealing your prizes. And there are only eight prizes, meaning eight bad ones and eight good ones. The game also has a leaderboard upload feature to disk. So it’s a cool game, play...

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

MOBILE WARS
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
(C) 1998 Mythos
Again a mini-game. This is a killer, frame-based mega shooter. The goal of the game is not entirely clear - just fly and smash everyone in sight. All actions take place in a small window, but everything is smooth and the sound is top-notch. Even though it's mini, it looks solid, all fans of this kind of games will undoubtedly enjoy it.

Volume: 83 sectors (TR-DOS)
