Micro #01: News: Upcoming Releases and Community Insights

NEWS So today is April first - I don't believe anyone, but this does not apply to our news. Toy lovers tremble! Spring has come, the snow has melted, and the programs are flowing. So, in the near future, we expect (for those who have questions) BLACK CROW with the ability to switch to any liked or disliked level, although, in my opinion, you can play like this too. The next item on our program is THE WIZARD OF OZ. Well, Dizzy is Dizzy. It's just disappointing that on the licensed diskette, this program is the only one, i.e. there is still a lot of free space left. But I want to believe that Ukrainian hackers will solve this problem. The third program will clearly shock you! The notorious SMAGLI part 3 (hey, there's also a second one for those who don't have it). But I hasten to upset Dizzy fans - there is no sign of an arcade adventure. It is made in the style of AMC (Astro Marine Corps). Our beloved grasshopper with a gun slung over his shoulder (or with a grenade launcher) bravely fights against the "greens," and the battle lasts a long time since the game takes up an entire disk. The full version of the towns is postponed for an indefinite time. The chief programmer is busy studying at the institute. Two weeks ago, MIRROW 128 was in the testing stage, but for some reason, the results are still unknown. For the great holiday of all pioneers, Komsomol members (including me), and communists, PLUTONIA is expected on April 22. Also, new disks arrived recently, but I want to warn you right away - it won't be possible to check what's on them soon, as the sender decided to joke: he laid the three-inch disks in a row and completely wrapped them in tape??!! After that, he stuffed them in an envelope and sent them... The recipient got rid of the tape, but not of the glue left on the diskettes. As a result, one diskette was taken out of the drive for half a day (the last sentence is a joke, but a request - do not wrap diskettes in tape). Therefore, there is an urgent need for tape glue remover. Whoever provides assistance in removing this substance will receive "a great thank you" (in Ukrainian). The newest and coolest version of ZXASM will not be released due to a lack of funds for its profitability. Those who love to make cartoons can be advised to try the program ANIMATION version 3 by Velichutin. In Zaporizhzhia, there are three disks with new stuff: The Last Adventure strategy about World War II, about 20-40 combat units, i.e. tanks, infantry, etc.; Escape to Kharkhan - a wonderful arcade adventure like Dizzy; OPERA - a demo; Well, Just You Wait! - it's hard to define the genre, something like an adventure, but I can say one thing - it is of low quality; SPECTROPHOBY 5 - a magazine with an attachment. And I also forgot one disk - old games (very old), reworked for the drive. Those who want to get these games should: 1) Write an article for the newspaper, compose music, draw a picture, or, best of all, send their program 2) Open a BBS 3) Develop scanners for Speccy 4) Help deliver GENERAL SOUND to Zaporizhzhia and connect it.
