└─────────────────────────────┘

In this issue, using the "window" created by the summer vacations, we would like to address all domestic programmers who write their own programs, as well as our hardware developers who are creating new devices for Speccy.

The editorial board of the magazine "SPECTROFON" invites programmers to publish your games and demo versions of the programs you are currently working on. All works (except for demo versions) are paid for if a decision is made to publish them.

Your programs can be published in our magazine either with protection or without it. This depends on your desire.

In order for your program to be published, you need to send us a letter of application with a brief description of the program and indicate a way to contact you. If we are interested in your proposal, we will contact you and discuss the terms of publication, your fee, and other organizational issues. Then you send us the program, we test it, and contact you for a final resolution of all questions. After that, we send you the fee, and the program is included in the next issue of the magazine.

We are interested in any of your works: application programs, games, theoretical developments, as well as schematic and hardware solutions to "Sinclair" problems. In short, anything related to "ZX-SPECTRUM".

PRINCIPLES OF PAYMENT FOR YOUR WORK
---------------------------

1. Originals.

The most "expensive" for us and for you will be original programs. That is, those that are written by you from start to finish. These works are paid at the maximum rate. In conditions of inflation, the maximum rate constantly changes, and therefore we will not speak of specific figures.

The amount that will be paid for original development will be accepted as equal to 100 percent. Of course, good originals will be paid more than mediocre ones. Thus, an original game, a system program is paid at the maximum.

2. Remakes, improvements of known programs.

This category includes works that are written based on already known games and system programs. A classic example can be two versions of the game ELITE - Novosibirsk ELITE-3 and ELITE-3 (THD). The authors of these games wrote new versions based on the existing material. Such works are paid at 75 percent of the payment for original development. Undoubtedly, the work can be done well (Novosibirsk ELITE-3) and well paid, or done mediocrely (ELITE-3 THD) and, accordingly, the payment for such work is significantly lower.

3. Programs translated into Russian.

For the translation of programs, the payment is 50 percent of the payment for original development. A positive example can be the games NETHER EARTH and a number of DIZZY programs (RUS.).

4. Full disk versions of games.

For this work, provided that it is done well, the payment is 25 percent of the payment for the original. Undoubtedly, some of your works will have characteristics of several categories. For example, a full disk version with new adventures of DIZZY in Russian, with new mazes and puzzles costs more than 75 percent of the original author's development.

The degree of our interest in your works increases from the fourth category to the first according to the payment. Therefore, we are least interested in works of the fourth category.

Payment for the publication of your theoretical developments is on general terms at negotiated prices.

WE ARE WAITING FOR YOUR WORKS!
