Also present were:

Sergey Zonov & K', MOA, Peters firm and KAY(Hemo).

All of the above-mentioned citizens received "branded" stickers from Slava Mednonogov, which distinguished them from the crowd of users, ibmshchiks, and amigists.

Now about those participants who seemingly did not receive stickers but took part in zx-compo:

Excess group Zx 4 people
(Kazan)

Vav, World Eyes, Digital Arts (2 people), WarLocks group - these people/groups presented their works at the demo-compo.

From St. Petersburg, there were also VirtGroup (they have a lot of people...), who showcased music and graphics. DNK performed very well in the music compo (his tracks took 1st and 2nd places in the city), while Observer excelled in gfx.

The announcement of the results was quite amusing. Everyone was "kicked" outside for two and a half hours (thankfully, the weather was nice). When the crowd was about to break down the door in anticipation, a person ran out with papers. With trembling hands, he taped them to the wall... Pushing each other, like in the metro during rush hour, everyone rushed to the coveted sheets and saw this!

Everything that was written there turned out to be PRELIMINARY results, which did not correspond to the ACTUAL STATE OF AFFAIRS. A question to the organizers: why did you keep the people waiting for so long, only to let them down like this? KSA left home completely confident that he had taken FIRST place...

Well, never mind, let's return to the people.

In music, there were no particular surprises. Digital - music by Joe from RSPG rightfully won - it is one of the best "digital" tracks ever written for Speccy. The only thing that remains unclear is why LAV did not participate in the zx-compo. This way, he let down the whole of St. Petersburg, depriving it of a couple of high places. As a result, only three tracks from our city made it into the top ten, which is still not bad, considering the renowned guests from other cities.

In graphics, however, it was a clean victory for the Muscovites, brought to them by Scorpion club and Magic Soft. Rush, represented by Viator and Kamikaze, also did not remain on the sidelines, taking 3rd and 4th places respectively. In St. Petersburg, only VirtGroup could compete with them.

Looking at the works showcased at Enlight, it can confidently be stated that coders, artists, and music makers in the ex-Soviet Union have reached a completely new level, which has not been achieved not only in England but also in Poland. Real-time, music at the level of Amiga, gfx at the level of Commodore - Clive Sinclair would not believe his eyes upon seeing all this. The end has come for "Insult" and "Satisfaction" - the effects made in them now only evoke a smile. Code Busters should seriously consider that people are already fed up with things that go nowhere but to the pentagon, multicolors, and plasma - this is yesterday's news, to which there is no return! I think that at the next Enlight, RST7 & Maxi will have to work hard to at least take an honorable third place...

P.S. It turned out that even two issues of "Zx-News" were not enough to put a period to the Enlight matter. We will return to this topic on our pages...

P.P.S. Once again, very thanks to Slava Mednonogov for the provided materials.
