ZYX boot — один из наиболее распространённых boot'ов для применения на дискетах-сборниках игр или демонстраций. Разработан группой ZYX (Роман Васильев и Владимир Соболев, Екатеринбург). Имеет графическое и музыкальное оформление. Смена музыки недоступна пользователю, всего существовало более 70 версий с разной музыкой. В зависимости от музыки имеет объём 35-50 секторов. Нужная программа может быть запущена нажатием клавиши от A до X. В случае, если программ на диске больше 24, они отображаются постранично. Страницы переключаются клавишами Caps Shift и Symbol Shift. Также возможно выбрать программу любым Sinclair-джойстиком.
