ESB V2 Level 3-x Dagobah BONUS
Version 2 of the concept mock ups. Following the advice from @Allan Turvey, I've rearranged the screen such that the panel now occupies the topmost 256x64 pixels and the play area sits within the lower two thirds (256x128 pixels). Additionally, the play area now has a 16 pixel wide 'buffer' on either side, which would theoretically facilitate scrolling. An extremely rough background image and X-Wing sprite, downgraded in Photoshop and coloured in Multipaint, with hastily thrown-together sprites for Luke and Yoda. The idea is that after completing two or three running, jumping and climbing 'assault course' stages, each with a Jedi exercise at the end (the last of which being the face-off with the Vader phantom), Luke has to try to raise his X-Wing from the swamp, waggling the joystick to build up Force power. If the player is successful, so much the better - bonus points, etc. - but, if not, Yoda does it for him, as per the movie.
